Well, here we are, nearly at the end of summer, finally sending out a newsletter. We had hoped to teach our nutrition series while the kids were out of school, but that didn't happen. As most of you know, Bill and I bought an abandoned firehouse, remodeled it, and moved into it. Our bathroom (yes just one) is still not quite finished...if you've done remodeling you already know the rest of the story.

Mosquito trouble...
Is on all the news. Carriers of many diseases, they are now responsible for the dreaded West Nile Virus. Nature has given us many ways to keep mosquitoes from biting us, thereby eliminating the problem at the source. One of my favorite techniques is to swallow one tablet of Nature's Sunshine High Potency Garlic AM and PM. I use one more at twilight if I'm going to be out and exposed. I also take one B-Complex with each dose, Nature's Sunshine's capsule form works best, then I make a natural mosquito repellent with Aromatherapy.

Natural Mosquito Repellent
In a 2 oz glass spray bottle, combine
    1 1/2 oz distilled water
    2 Tbsp Herbal Trim
    1/2 tsp. Massage Oil
    12 drops Eucalyptus
    4 drops Geranium
    4 drops Peppermint
Sometimes I will add
    4 drops Tea Tree
    4 drops Lavender

This way it works on bites to stop itching as well as a repellent formula. Of course I only use the highest quality Nature's Sunshine Aromatherapy because I don't like mosquito bites!

Have you tried Thai Go? After all the years of Noni juice (which is wonderful but not everyone likes the taste of) we have Thai Go. Taken as a shot in the morning or sipped in water, this is the best tonic on the market, and it's yummy! The enclosed brochure is by Dr. Duarte. Read about it and come give it a try.

God bless the rest of your summer!
